  9. WHY?

  11. THE  PARTY  1991  was, according to you, the diskmags, newspapers and computer
  12. magazines,  the  biggest  &  best Amiga party ever.  And as everybody wanted a
  13. second party, we (The Organizers) would like to invite you to:

  18. WHERE AND WHEN?
  19. ---------------
  20. THE  PARTY  1992 will be held in the same huge conference centre as last year,
  21. but  this time we will not only use Hall 1, but also Hall 2 and 3.  That means
  22. 00 squaremetres, almost 3 times larger are than last year.
  23. The  party  place  is  located in Aars, 35 km.  south to Aalborg, Denmark, and
  24. will  be held from Sunday the 27th of December at 0800 CET to Tuesday the 29th
  25. of December at 1500 CET.

  27. FACILITIES:
  28. -----------
  29. - Room for at least 1500 people, including tables and chairs for everybody.
  30. - At   least  one FREE bus will drive nonstop from Aalborg Railroad Station to
  31. the  party  place,  both  the  first  and the last day!  So if you're going by
  32. train,  then  travel to Aalborg.  A new highway has been made since last year,
  33. so it won't take long to drive.
  34. - Enough  electricity for everyone, with a professional electrician 24 hours a
  35. day to avoid any power problem.
  36. - All  info about what's going on will be published on a large bulletin board,
  37. infoscreens and the infochannel.
  38. - 300*250cm  high quality screen for competitions, movies etc.  This screen is
  39. the same one which people liked last year.
  40. - Extremely  powerful HI-FI equipment to guarantee perfect soundquality.  Last
  41. year  people  complained  about  the  speakers  playing  too  low.   Yes,  the
  42. soundquality  was  good,  but too low.  This happened because the of the sound
  43. equipment  we ordered never arrived, so we had to use some home equipment.  We
  44. now  have  a  written contract with a discoteque, so this time, you better put
  45. cheese into your ears!
  46. - A  real  cafeteria  will be open in the daytime and at night there will be a
  47. small  Snack  Bar  selling  all the lowlife foods you may need.  And YES, last
  48. time  people  complained  about  the food etc.  being so expensive, so we have
  49. done something serious about this:  the cafeteria got new management, and this
  50. means:  LOWER prices!
  51. - This  time  we  have  3  TV  channels  and  one radio channel which  will be
  52. broadcasted,  so  anyone who brings a TV-set/radio and an antenna will be able
  53. to watch:  2 moviechannels, 1 infochannel and listen to 1 radio channel.  Last
  54. time there were recieving problems, but this time a transmitter had been built
  55. to ensure perfect broadcast quality.
  56. - The toilet facilities  are good, and if you want a shower then that's of'coz
  57. possible, too.
  58. - A   lazerdisc  room  with  a  big  screen and dolby prologic surround sound,
  59. showing new lazerdiscs 24 hours a day!!!
  60. - Cleaning  personnel  to  ensure  that you will be able to walk around in the
  61. halls.
  62. - Modemtrading, so all new stuff will be freely distributed in the reception.
  63. - Stand with a local computer store, selling disks etc.
  64. - Luggage  room  for those who wants their equipment taken care of, with small
  65. fee.

  84. RULEZZZZZ:

  86. - Overall Demo/Music/Gfx/Intro rulez:
  87.           - All contributions must be delivered at the reception@¹ near the
  88.             entrance to one of the organizers.
  89.           - The people taking part in the competitions must be present at the
  90.             party.
  91. - Demo Competition:
  92.           - Each group can contribute with as many demos as they want to, but
  93.             only one demo from each coder.
  94.           - Max. demo length: 30 min.
  95.           - The demos must be able to run on a standard (1.2/1.3) A500 with 1
  96.             MB memory. If they don't, bad luck...
  97. - Music Competition:
  98.           - Each musician is allowed to contribute with one tune.
  99.           - We will play a maximum of 6 minuntes per module.
  100.           - Your tune must be delivered as an executeable file to avoid any
  101.             problems with players etc.
  102. - Gfx Competition:
  103.           - Each artist is allowed to contribute with one picture.
  104.           - The picture must be loadable from DPaint4.
  105. - Intro Competition:
  106.           - Intro length max.:KB.
  107.           - The intro must be able to run on a standard 1MB A500.

  109. PLEASE NOTE:
  110. ------------
  111. - We will not accept anybody selling food, disks etc.
  112. - People  who  can't  behave  will  be  thrown   outside  until they can, real
  113.   troublemakers will ofcourse handed over to the police.
  114. - People who cause any damage will ofcourse have to pay for it.
  115. - Please help us by putting your trash into the trashcans and bags. Reason? -
  116.   last year 20 people used 2 days to do it.
  117. - If you have made a video or or something else amazing, bring it with you and
  118.   we'll gladly show it on the big screen. Just hand the productions to one of
  119.   the organizers in the reception near the entrance.
  120. - We take no responsibility for illegal swapping, software, video etc.
